Sometimes it was easier to just hit my pillow and cry until I could forget his face but other times it was just easier to hate him altogether. But could I really hate him? I was the one that left after graduation, said goodbye to everyone and hopped the nearest train away from them. Of course they were my friends, I loved them all and I miss them every day I walk to class alone. But college has thankfully kept my mind off of him. Averse: Chapter ThreeSilent Goodbyes and Heading West Panting heavily, Sean wiped the sweat from his forehead as he looked down at the piece of paper. On one side, it was blank but on the other side, were a few words. They were in the same, dark green ink that the letter was in and Sean shook with shivers. He calmed down a little before turning on his lamp and putting the small paper underneath the lamp. Only two words were written on the paper, the same paper that the note was written on. They said: Westward Bound. Sean stared at the paper. What did Westward Bound mean? He sat there, thinking of why anything like this would come across hiAverse: Chapter Three


Averse: Chapter TwoSupplies and Future Readings Sean sat, wide eyed at the paper in his fingers. He couldn’t believe what he had read and what he was holding. Averse? Mr. Flaggersworn? ‘They were real!’ He thought as he sat up straight, holding the letter closer to the light, making sure that what he had read was true and that he wasn’t making things up. But in fact, more light or less, the sparkle of dark green ink stood in the same form of words he read. He grinned from ear to ear as he lay back on his bed, staring up at the picture of his hero.Averse: Chapter Two
